Campaign Against Antisemitism utterly discredited!
A court summons, brought against comedian Reginald D Hunter, by Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) has been quashed by District Judge Michael Snow, and has back fired on the CAA big time.
The Judge has ruled that the CAA intentionally failed to disclose relevant information when seeking the summons and if he had been aware of this information he would have considered the application for the summons to have been "vexatious." The Judge made it clear that the CAA's "wilful, repeated, failure to meet it's disclosure obligations" demonstrated that their true motive was simply to get Hunter cancelled, adding "I have no doubt the prosecution is abusive... My view of the conduct of the CAA is consistent with them as an organisation which is not playing it straight," and are using the criminal justice system "for improper reasons"
Crucially, the Judge has also ordered that the CAA includes a copy of his judgment, in this case, along with any future applications they choose to make to the courts.
